Zarpamos del muelle turístico local recorriendo la amplia Bahía de Ushuaia hasta alcanzar el Canal Beagle a través del Paso Chico.
Allí navegamos alrededor de la Isla de los Pájaros donde apreciaremos la avifauna fueguina observando Skúas, Albatros de Ceja Negra, Patos Vapor, Cauquenes, Gaviotas Cocineras y Gaviotas Grises; y de la Isla de los Lobos donde podremos observar lobos marinos de uno y dos pelos.
Ambas islas pertenecen al archipiélago Bridges.
Al llegar al Faro Les Eclaireurs (Los Iluminadores), podremos apreciar las colonias de Cormoranes Imperiales y Cormoranes Roqueros; y también escuchar la historia del hundimiento del SS Monte Cervantes que protagonizó en 1930.
Continuando, navegaremos hacia el Este disfrutando de los maravillosos paisajes del canal y las montañas que lo rodean, allí divisaremos sobre la costa Argentina Puerto Almanza y sobre la costa Chilena la Base Naval Puerto Williams, y luego llegaremos a la Isla Martillo donde tendremos la oportunidad de ver una colonia de Pingüinos Magallánicos y algunos ejemplares de pingüinos Papua.
Allí, viramos para regresar a Ushuaia, navegando cerca de la costa Norte del Canal apreciando la flora característica y divisando algunos sitios históricos como la Estancia Túnel y Estancia Remolino, donde se encuentra desde 1912 el casco semihundido del Buque Vapor Monte Sarmiento.
Finalizando el trayecto usted podrá asombrarse con la vista del cordón montañoso que circunda a la ciudad de Ushuaia y su naturaleza suntuosa que la rodea. Es un recorrido de gran valor histórico y paisajístico el que realizamos, visitando puntos privilegiados e interesantes a lo largo de todo el viaje, que usted puede descubrir navegando con Catamaranes Canoero por las aguas del Canal Beagle.

We are going to sail from the local port and navigate around the large Ushuaia bay till reaching the “Paso Chico” into the Beagle Channel itself. Then we are sailing around the “Isla de los Pajaros” where we can see different seabirds like skuas, black eyed albatrosses, steam ducks, upland geese, kelp gulls, dolphin gulls and on the “Isla de los Lobos” we are going to see southern fur seals, and southern sea lions.Both islands belong to the Bridges Archipelago.
Getting at the “Faro Les Eclaireurs”(the illuminators), we can see the colonies of CORMORANES IMPERIALES and CORMORANES ROCKEROS. We will listen about the history of the sinking of the SS Monte Cervantes that took place in 1930.We will continue navigating towards the east enjoying the wonderful sights of the channel and the mountains around it. From there we can see “Puerto Almanza” on the Argentinean coast and Puerto Williams on the Chilean coast. Then we will reach the “Isla Martillo” where we will have the opportunity to see a Magallanic Penguin colony as well as a Papua Penguin colony .
From there we will go back to Ushuaia, sailing near the northern coast of the Channel having a view of the characteristic flora and seeing some historical places like “Estancia Tunel” and “Estancia Remolino”, where it is the half-sunk hulk of the steam boat called “ Monte Sarmiento”.At the end of the trip you can have a view of the mountainous range and wildlife that surround the city of Ushuaia.It is an interesting trip of great historical and natural value visiting some privileged and interesting places along the navigation of the Beagle Channel on “Canoeros Catamarans”.
